Then you're welcome to join our Underwater Photography Workshops! Beginners and amateurs will be taken care of during our personalised workshops!

Point and Shoot:

A few tricks and tips on how to use your action camera and get great results in no time!

Action cameras (GoPro, Sony HDR-AS, etc…)
Point and shoot (Canon PowerShot, Nikon Coolpix, etc…)

  • Environmental consciousness
  • Camera maintenance
  • Theory
    • Effects of light underwater (physics of light)

  • Use of red filters, internal flash or external strobe
  • Basic photography composition
  • Introduction to editing software Adobe Lightroom / GoPro software

Course duration: 1 day, 2 dives.


Beginners:

This package is intended for beginners who’d like to learn on how to use their camera to quickly get great results. There will be some theory explained and illustrated with pictures and diagrams, as well as some practice time underwater, of course!

 Compact Cameras (Canon G16, Olympus Tough, Sony RX100 etc…)

  • Buoyancy skills and finning techniques
  • Environmental consciousness
  • Theory
    • Effects of light underwater (physics of light)
    • Basic theory of underwater photography
    • Terminology
  • Camera equipment
    • Introduction to priority modes and manual settings
    • Digital attachments (dioptres)
    • Camera maintenance
  • Taking a photo underwater / diving with the camera system
  • Basic strobe positioning/ internal flash / use of ambient light
  • Basic photography composition
  • Finding critters and interesting subjects
  • Introduction to editing software Adobe Lightroom

Course duration: 2 days, 4 dives.


Advanced:

This course offers a more thorough understanding of physics, camera settings, photography composition and techniques. This package is intended for people who have already taken photos underwater and would like to improve their knowledge and technique, in order to improve the result of their pictures. There will be some theory explained and illustrated with pictures, diagrams, as well as some practice time underwater, of course!

Compact Cameras (Canon G16, Olympus Tough, etc…)
DSLR, Micro Four Thirds (Canon or Nikon DSLR, Olympus OM-D, etc…)

  • Buoyancy skills and finning techniques (optional)
  • Environmental consciousness
  • More thorough understanding of the camera’s settings and controls
  • Camera equipment
    • Lenses, dioptre, arms, clamps, focus light, floaters
    • Maintenance (before after the dive)
    • Strobe positioning, use of ambient light and snoot
  • Advanced photography composition and creative ideas using manual settings
  • Advanced use and tips on editing software Adobe Lightroom
  • Mindset / finding critters and interesting subjects
  • Advanced tips and tricks

Course duration: 2 days, 4 dives.


Zero-to-Hero:

For the passionate ones, it is possible to combine the Beginner’s and Advanced packages. We'll go in depth of the knowledge in a practical and fun way!

Course duration: 3-4 days, 6 to 8 dives or more.

For non-certified divers, we can provide certification upon completion of the Open Water license, from an internationally recognised diving federation. The Open Water Course is to be conducted for 3-4 days before starting to use the camera underwater.

Note that all of the photography knowledge taught in the course can be applied out of the water!

All courses are under the supervision of professionally trained dive masters or instructors. All the dive equipment will be provided. Divers are required to bring their own camera equipment.

Our leitmotif is to learn and share while having fun. There is no competition and we understand that divers are here for holidays and we want everybody to have a great time!
